Founder’s Statement
Opshot Academy was founded at a fault line: where theology confronts media, and where truth either survives discipline or is murdered by speed. My training in theology taught me that words shape conscience. My work in media showed me how quickly words lose meaning when speed replaces thought.
We reject shallow content because it makes people noisy, not wise. It excites emotions while numbing responsibility. In today’s digital culture, attention has been confused for authority, and volume mistaken for impact. Opshot Academy exists to push back against that confusion.
Formation comes before virality. Principles matter more than platforms. Responsibility comes before reach. We teach people to think clearly, speak honestly, and create content that can survive reflection—not just applause. If a message cannot stand still and be examined, it should not be amplified.
Opshot Academy is not here to chase trends.
